You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and direct supervision of higher education and other institutional projects primarily in the Gainesville, FL area, and work with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the project remains on schedule within allocated budget. The Superintendent obtains successful cost results with respect to labor and material, ensures all construction safety and quality is performed at an acceptable level, is responsible for on-site liaisons with owners and owners' representatives, and must provide client satisfaction.

Stellar is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager with 1-2 years of experience to assist the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and other team members in the construction management of food processing facilities. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with construction project managers to ensure projects are competitively bid and meet the needs of the client, and provide support to PM’s, Field Engineers, and Superintendents throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project as needed. Depending upon relevant field experience, the Assistant Project Manager may spend time in the office and/or field.

Responsible for PLC and HMI application development, system architecture concept and design, network design, instrumentation specification and selection, control panel design and acceptance testing, system commissioning and start-up for food processing and packing equipment / systems.
